Netherlands Mission at the UN

March 31, 2014 The Netherlands will add three Chinook transport helicopters to its contribution to the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Mali (MINUSMA). In the vast area of northern Mali, the availability of transport helicopters is of great value to the UN mission. The helicopters will be used for medical evacuation, transportation tasks and tactical mobility.

March 24, 2014 Speaking after the first day of the Nuclear Security Summit, Prime Minister Mark Rutte said: ‘It was a good first day. As chairman of this NSS I’m very satisfied. This is only the halfway point, but I’m convinced we’ll be able to continue in the same excellent atmosphere tomorrow.’
